The School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Charles Sturt University is offering a PhD training opportunity in the area of E.coli O157 shedding in beef cattle, with a focus on the 'supershedding' phenomenon.

 This study is fully funded by Meat and Livestock Australia and is part of a collaborative project between Charles Sturt University and the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will work as part of a collaborative team of epidemiologists, ruminant health experts, microbiologists and public health specialists. The research will involve field work, laboratory work and disease modelling.

This studentship will run over three years and be funded at $35,000 per annum on a tax free stipend, with further top up possible.
